A Firm Organised Around the Principal
Terran Agency was founded to give principals a single point of counsel across the decisions that shape their business, investments and wider affairs. Those questions may concern strategy, ownership, philanthropy, international interests or the practical challenges that arise when significant assets and responsibilities span several jurisdictions.
Our partners built their careers across private banking, family offices, investment firms and international law. They came together to create an advisory firm designed around the principal rather than around internal divisions, product lines or institutional priorities.
Who We Are
Terran Agency is a partner-led advisory firm based in London and New York. We work with principals, families and privately owned businesses on questions that rarely arrive in neat categories: whether to enter a market, back an opportunity, restructure an ownership position, resolve a strategic problem or find the right person to move something forward.
We are deliberately small, privately owned and independent. Every mandate is led by a partner from beginning to end, and our value lies in the judgement of the people around the table, the quality of the information we can reach and our ability to bring the right expertise to a problem without unnecessary layers; sometimes the best advice is to move quickly, and sometimes it is to wait, change direction or walk away.
How We Work
Every mandate begins with a private conversation to understand the principal's objectives, circumstances and wider interests. We then define the scope, establish the appropriate advisory team and agree how the work will be developed and reviewed.
Where a question requires expertise beyond our core team, we bring in selected specialists from our network and coordinate their contribution within the wider mandate. The principal retains one advisory relationship while gaining access to the specific expertise the situation requires.
We move quickly when circumstances demand it, but not at the expense of judgement. Our work is intended to support consequential decisions, and we take the time required to understand the context before recommending a course of action.
